What is Moss?

Benetti Moss walls are made of 100% natural stabilised lichen. The moss that makes it up is harvested without creating any damage to the vegetation: by its very characteristics and the way it is sourced, it is therefore a fully eco-friendly material

What are the characteristics of Moss?

Benetti Moss is designed for indoor use and has a durability of several years. It does not attract dust because it has no electrostatic charge, does not attract insects and does not requiremaintenance. It is fireproof certified for safety andhas sound-absorbing properties, thus improving the comfort of the roomas a whole. The only aution: it should not be wetted, so it is designed for indoor only, and requires a minimum humidity of 35%.

How do we assemble Moss?

The installation of Benetti Moss is very simple: all you need is a drill to screw the panel using special dowels. A simple and clear installation diagram for the correct arrangement of the panels is supplied with the product. It can be applied to any wall or ceiling, even plasterboard.

What does Moss consist of?

Benetti Moss is composed of a natural lichen whose name is Cladonia Stellaris. When harvested - with the utmost respect for the environment and without harming it - it comes in the colour Cream. It is then treated with the stabilisation technique and offered in various colours, all made with non-toxic food dyes.

What colour is Moss available in?

Benetti Moss is available in a variety of colours, ranging from Cream - the natural colour of lichen - to various shades of green and brown to shades that wink at fashion and design. Two particular proposals are Camouflage and Green Mix, made by combining lichen in different colours that recall vegetation

Keep you wall in a perfect condition by providing the correct level of humidity with our special spray

There are only two things that vertical gardens truly dislike: water – which would prevent them from lasting over time and is the reason why they are made as indoor products – and, on the opposite end of the scale, a lack of humidity. If the space in which they are installed does not have the correct humidity, simply apply our patented specifically-made Moss Spray and for the next 6/8 months you don’t need to worry.
